Have been living in Japan for 12 years now. First Tokyo and then for the last ten years In Okinawa. I married a local and have 2 wonderful children and we love life in Okinawa, which I now call home. I love the outdoors and Okinawa offers many different things to do from island hopping , relaxing at the beach to enjoying the natural beauty of this small island. My family here have accepted and embraced me and I really enjoy all the Okinawan cultural things we do together. I also love Sports, drinking Awamori ( local Sake ) with friends and playing with my 2 young boys! Life is good in sunny Okinawa.
The vast majority of visitors who have booked a short getaway by the beach will end up staying in one of the hotels located in Onna village. This is a fairly small and narrow area stretching about 26 kilometers between Nago to the north and the rural but large Yomitan village to the south.
