Originally from England, Alan is currently based in Kyoto, where he works as an assistant language teacher. His love of Japan started from watching Godzilla movies at a young age, but it has since developed to encapsulate many aspects of Japan's wonderful, diverse culture.
Video game bars are an intriguing prospect for a significant percentage of tourists visiting Japan, particularly those in their 20s to 30s who grew up with gaming and now want to combine their youthful passions with the more adult love of alcohol.

Given its deserved reputation as the centre of traditional culture in Japan, it’s almost redundant to say that Kyoto has more than its fair share of sightseeing spots and landmarks for any tourist, whether local or international, to enjoy.
