Orange Street in Osaka: Chic Clothes, Cute Cafes and Fashionable Furniture
Horie is one of the most fashionable shopping districts in Osaka and Orange Street is the place to be in Horie. This area combines boutique fashion of areas and intimate coffee shops without the bustle of areas such as Umeda and nearby Shinsaibashi. This area is also home to bicycle stores, furniture shops and second hand clothing stores.
View down Orange Street
The best way to explore this street is to start at the top of the street (eastern side, close to America-mura) and wander down, walking into any store that catches your eye.
Let take a look at some of the many interesting shops to stop into along along the way.
There are passionate followers of every sub-culture in Japan, and street wear definitely has a large following. Supreme, a well-known streetwear store, has their Osaka branch on Orange Street and is one of the many street wear stores in Horie. Pop in to see their latest collection, if there is a new line of clothes being released that day, expect a long queue to get in the door.
