Tama Zoo, or Tama Zoological Park, even though it is still located in Tokyo, is about 1 hour trip from central Tokyo. From Shinjuku Station, you need to take the express train to Takahatafudo Station on Keio Line.

Located in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi prefecture, Japan, Fuji-Q Highland (or 富士急ハイランド、 Fujikyuu Hairando, as the locals call it) is not your usual amusement park. For its location which is near the base of Mount Fuji, you might expect to enjoy riding the attractions while casually looking at the beauty of the most respected mountain in Japan.

Amanohashidate itself is a white-sandbar land, covered by not less than 8000 beautiful pine trees spans between two opposing sides of Miyazu Bay. The sandbar is about 3.6 km in length, 20m wide and can be viewed from both mountains in either sides of the bay.

This year of 2014, Universal Studio Japan (or USJ, for short) opened “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”, that reproduced the world from Harry Potter series in a reallife, overwhelming scale.
