A lot of people flock to Tokyo or any of the other more well known touristy places when they plan a visit to Japan but there’s a city that a lot of tourists have yet to really explore but really should--and that is Kitakyushu City.

I got to ask him why he named his restaurant Funky Tiger-he says it's because he was born in the year of the tiger and 'funky' because his life is always funky.

When most people think travel in Japan it's mostly the big cities like Tokyo, Osaka,
Kyoto... and these are the places that have gotten overcrowded, especially during peak
seasons.
