The service has been launched on July 12th and Thomas from “Thomas and friends” will make a 37 km (approx. 23mi)-long round trip between Shin-Kanaya Station and Senzu Station of the Oigawa Honsen once a day for 50 days, mainly on the weekends until October 12th. Although it is a minor local line in Shizuoka prefecture, families with kids and alike are rushing toward this limited-time-only train service and the reservations are already fully booked!
