It is no secret by now that the release of the new Star Wars movie in Japan is making waves, and not small ones. We already featured articles about the Star Wars mania that fell on Japan here
Now, if you are a real Star Wars fan, there's one event you cannot miss : STAR WARS TOKYO SKY WALK at TOKYO SKYTREE(R). It is basically a Star Wars exhibition held at 450 meters from the ground ! The TOKYO SKYTREE Sky Walk (Tembo Galleria) is already impressive as it is, now you can enjoy it even more during the exhibition.
Now, what can you expect ? As you may or may not know, the Sky Walk is a corridor with huge windows that goes up the SKYTREE - up to 450 meters. During this occasion, the Sky Walk will be divided in 6 special zones.
Zone A : Welcome Stage
At the 445th floor, you'll find a welcoming Star Wars setting as you get off the elevator.
Zone B : Story Wall
This is where you can see the timeline of all Star Wars episodes as you go up to the 450th floor.
Zone C : Battle Action
This is where you can see items used in battle, and even try a light saber yourself!
Zone D : The Force Awakens Special Gallery
This gallery is dedicated to the last movie. You can see special presentations, character figures, etc.
Zone E : The Force Awakens SKYTREE Reception
At 451.2 meters, the highest point of the gallery, you can see a special light and music presentation. This particular event is only held at night, from 5PM to 10PM.(Each presentation lasts 2 minutes, and happens every 10 minutes.)
Zone F : Japanese Original
It is no secret that there's a strong Japanese inspiration in the Star Wars movies. Here you can see some art displays that shows the relationship between Japan traditional culture and Star Wars.
Zone G : Product Showcase
This is where you can the best quality Star Wars goods from all over the world, as well as many rare items.
Special Zone : Storm Troopers Photo Spot
Of course, you need
to take a photo there !

Access and Information
The exhibition is held from November 18th, 2015 until February 11th, 2016. Opening hours are from 8AM to 10PM.(Last admission: 9PM)
