SIM Card Vending Machines! Yes you heard it right, SIM Card Vending Machines at Narita Airport.

Two SIM card vending machines have been installed at the international arrival lobbies of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Narita International Airport, and started operating round the clock. Aimed at an increasing number of inbound tourists, the vending machines sell the “Prepaid SIM for JAPAN” cards as well as smartphones and other phone-related accessories such as pocket WiFi routers.

Touch panel guides in English and Chinese guide users to purchase the products. The vending machines accept credit cards, so users can purchase a SIM card without needing to visit an ATM or exchange counter first. After buying a SIM card, you can register it by scanning your passport information, and get connected without delay.
