Do you love shopping any electronic home supplies such as rice cooker, television, vacuum cleaner, or home stereo set? If you love that kind of activities, I recommend you to go to these most well-known and the biggest electronic shops in Japan! You can also find these shops in most prefectures in Japan. So, let’s learn more about those shops!

Yodobashi Camera

Maybe some of you already know about this chain. The biggest shop in Japan is located in Akihabara, Tokyo. The shop in Akihabara has 11 floors and sells any type of electronics, such as home supplies, stereo, camera, PC, etc. You can also buy some toys, such as figures, bicycles, etc, in the upper floor.

If you can’t go to Akihabara Yodobashi Camera shop, you can still go to the other branches in Japan. They open everyday from 09:30 am to 10:00 pm. If you are staying in Japan for a long time, I recommend you to make a point card from the shop. They will give you 10% points from your purchasing bills, and you can use it to buy other goods too. Shopping is such a nice activity isn’t it? Prepare your wallet!

Yamada Denki (or LABI) is also one of the largest consumer electronics retailer chains in Japan. They also sell the other products, besides home electronics, such as books, etc. The interesting thing is the Yamada Denki Song! It ends in a coda of “Yamada… Denki!” It will certainly remain in your head after you leave the store.

These are the most well-known electronic shops in Japan. I recommend you to visit there when you have a chance to go to Japan. It is also known that the most attractive home supply for foreigners is the rice cooker. They usually buy the most popular rice cooker brand from Japan, Zojirushi. The second one is vacuum cleaner. So, what are you waiting for? Go there and go for shopping! If you go to Yodobashi Camera at Akihabara, I bet you will spend hours to just look around there! Have fun!
