Kanji Inoki ( 猪 木 寛 至 )is a Japanese professional wrestling promoter, retired professional wrestler and mixed martial artist nicknamed “Antonio Inoki”. Also known as Anton (アントン), he fashioned this name as a homage to wrestler Antonino Rocca. He was also the founder and former owner of New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). He was really famous on TV for prowrestling matches show during 70s/80’s.
As pro-wrestling star and legend he opened in Shinjuku an American style bar but themed for pro-wrestling. Quite near the tube Marunouchi Line Shinjuku-sanchome Station Exit B3 you can reach easily the bar at 7th floor.
Only entering in bar is already an experience, they ring a fight bell just before taking you to your seats. The bar area is a wrestling ring; a lot of memorabilia around the area.
Almost all the seating is just like the ring side tables which the announcers set at during a match. There were several of TV sets constantly showing Antonio Inoki best fights. It not difficult to see most famous matches take on the legend Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant.
Funny meals could be order and will be served with a kind of esibition to guest, such as shaka shaka salad. Menu recommendation

Inoki appears both in the manga and anime Tiger Mask, in a secondary role: in the Japanese series he is the only one who was able to win over Date. After the entrance a lobby area with memorabilia have got also tiger musk costume in real size and other supply as gloves and medals.
This bar is unique sure is something different and fun to do in Tokyo, it worth a visit.
