The annual Midsummer Snow Festival will be held in Rokkosan Country House for 49 days, from July 18th to August 31st, and on the weekends from September 5th to September 13th.

Located at 850 meters above sea level and five degrees below the city temperature, Rokkosan Country House is known as a summer resort area. This year marks the 37th edition of the festival, which offers a fun escape from the summer heat.

In the snow park containing 100 tons of artificial snow, visitors can enjoy playing with snow and treasure-hunting games in the middle of summer. What’s more, visitors can taste Nagashi somen, (flowing somen noodles) and enjoy a barbecue party in open air space.
