I'm from North Yorkshire in England, I'm in my late thirties and in a few years I'll have spent a decade in Japan.
My main occupation is teaching, which I love, but my main passion is travelling.
It has given me and taught me the most in my time. I'm a huge advocate of solo travel. It forces you to get out there and really become a part of the place, and of researching and reading about places as much as possible before going. It can enrich the experience ten fold.
The most difficult thing for me when out and about is turning back. I want to see around every corner.
