As an avid and moderately audacious traveler, I am most happy when flying away from the nest to experience other cultures and languages abroad other than my own.

My love for traveling has taken me to parts of Asia, Europe, Australia and the Pacific Islands.

However, being a small-city girl from New Zealand, I also made it a priority to discover the sights and sounds of my own backyard.

My true love lies in the diverse and effervescent country of Japan where I now live, teaching English on the island of Shikoku.
