Grids Akihabara : A New Type of Accommodation

To cater to a wide variety of traveling style from backpackers to group travelers, GRIDS AKIHABARA offers guest rooms in a wide range of sizes and types.

The design concept of the accommodation is “ Terminal “, which functions as the multicultural hub, where travelers all over the world can meet. Elegant color and contemporary design are integrated into the symbolic neon light of Akihabara, where travelers immerse themselves in the mecca of Japanese subculture. What is more, the hotel has a bar and café in the lobby and a communal space on the 7th floor, where travelers can gather and relax.

The name of the hotel “GRIDS” is inspired by the intersection of travelers from all over the world and Japanese culture. The theme color of the hotel, suwo, is one of traditional Japanese colors, which reminds of traditional culture and lifestyle in shitamachi, or a down town area in Tokyo.
