There will be an event “Kanda Curry Grand Prix” in Kanda, Tokyo.
Curry is one of the most popular dishes in Japan along with ramen, and it is the fourth time for this popular event to take place this year.
There are over 300 curry shops in Kanda. This is an event to promote Kanda with curry.
Although there were 15 shops participated last time, the number of participants will be increased to 20 this year. These participants are erected by the vote on the internet, so these 20 shops are the selected group of popular curry shops.
The event will be held at Kanda’s own Ogawa Hiroba Square, and specially-priced, smaller servings of curry are provided at special prices so that you can compare the tastes of pride offered by different shops.
In addition, they will be hosting “Kanda Curry Street Stamp Rally”, an event to enjoy the different curry shops in Kanda for the 100-day period between October 24th and January 31st, 2015.
You can get hold of a copy of “Official Kanda Curry Street Guidebook 2014” at curry shops, bookstores, sport goods stores, music instrument stores, and public facilities in Kanda area, with the presentation of which, gives you special perks for each shop.
In addition, you can get stamps on the guidebook to collect stamps for the stamp rally, and you can enter the drawing for prizes depending on the number of stamps collected.
