Japan’s biggest travel agency JTB is launching a new type of entertainment bus tour ‘Samurai and Ninja Safari’ this month.
Unlike traditional bus tours, this tour features interactive experiences, which allows the passengers to “be a part of it”. Let’s have a look at what you can see in this tour!!
The one-hour tour begins with live onboard commentary about famous landmarks in Asakusa district by a bilingual DJ. (Japanese and English) The state-of –the-art bus has wooden seats facing the transparent side of the bus so that you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city streets.
Along the way, a Samurai warrior and a Ninja who appear on the street out of the blue, as if they’ve slipped through into present day Tokyo. You will see them chasing one another, and start an intense battle on the street. The performance of Samurai and Ninja, produced by young members of the entertainment group Seguras Group, is a silent comedy and easy to understand for everyone, regardless of age and nationality.

This unique bus tour is being launched as part of a promotion for the Japanese Government’s goal of reaching 20 million foreign tourists by 2020. JTB is promoting inbound tourism which allows foreign visitors interact with local culture.
The tour is operated mainly on weekends and national holiday from 4th April to 24th May.
